Mirabella Seattle Hires Three New Administrators
Opening date is scheduled for next Monday, December 15.
(Seattle, Washington) December 9, 2008 – Mirabella Seattle, a new Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that will soon open in South Lake Union, announced today that the following professionals were recently hired.
Flavia A. Lagrange, MPA, NHA, is Health Services Administrator. A native of the Seattle area, Flavia has worked in the long-term care industry for more than 15 years. She is a licensed Washington State Nursing Home Administrator and will be overseeing Mirabella’s Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing services. Flavia received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Administration from Eastern Washington University and her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Seattle University. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys traveling to distant places like Morocco, Turkey, Greece, and Italy. She plays on a coed Soccer team and will soon train for her third Triathlon.
Karen Herndon is Facility Services Director. Also a native of Seattle, Karen has more than 28 years experience in all aspects of Facility Services management, including property management, food services, fitness centers, mail and shipping, copy and print services, hospitality, transportation, emergency management, and child care. Prior to Mirabella, she served eight years as Facility Services Manager for Starbucks at its Seattle corporate headquarters, and another 20 years as Facilities Manager for Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she was also responsible for development and construction. For more than 25 years, Karen has volunteered in the outreach and senior services programs for her First Hill parish.
Debbie Lewis is Director of Business Services. Debbie has worked in the health care industry for more than 30 years, more recently at a CCRC in Southern California where she served as Business Services Manager. A native of Seattle, Debbie and her husband raised their children in the beautiful Puyallup valley. She is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and family.
