We are vertical! This is a view from the SE corner of Fairview Avenue and Denny Way looking north. This is the signature view of the building as we are looking at a similar view as shown on the sign on the fence visible in the middle of the photograph. This is known as Zone 4. The second level concrete deck has been poured and work is beginning on forming up level-3. Large transfer beams which are basically concrete walls are being poured on level-2 with one visible in the middle of the right side of the photograph. These transfer beams allowed us to remove a row of columns in the Auditorium space below them on level-1(street level). Visible on level-1 is the exterior wall framing that was begun this week. The steel studs are being installed between the concrete columns.

The level -2 and level-3 decks for Zone 4 is directly visible to the left of the Space Needle. This visible upper level courtyard is the private area that is at least four feet above street level. From this common area of the building the Space Needle will remain visible for all the Residents.

This is a view looking directly west down John Street toward Fairview Avenue and the Space Needle. The large concrete pilasters visible on the left side of the photograph are the base for the grand double stairway entrance into the Library off of John Street. This will be an important feature of the building from John Street. The visible form work is in place for the level-2 deck above Zones 1 and 2.
