Mirabella Construction

Here is a view from the north tower crane looking S to SW at Zones 3 and 4. Denny Way is the street visible at the top of the photograph with Fairview Ave. N. on the right of the photograph. The core elevator towers for both zones are visible with 3 on the left and 4 on the right. The inner form work for the Zone 4 elevator core is in the upper right portion of the photograph as they prepare to install it inside in preparation for an additional lift. In the lower part of the photograph the form work for the entrance and main courtyard is under fabricated. The structural reinforcement steel has been placed and steel cables will be installed next as they prepare the entrance courtyard for pouring next week. The form work has extended into Zone 1 in the lower right of the courtyard around the visible two story columns.

This is a view from the north tower crane looking S to SE at Zones 3 and 4. Denny Way is the street visible at the top of the photograph with Minor Ave. on the left of the photograph. Minor Avenue continues to be used for form fabrication and material storage at this time. The core elevator tower for Zone 3- level 1 is visible in the upper center of the photograph. The form work for Zone 2 has progressed over the entrance ramp to the garage level and continuing over any poured slab on grade area. This is visible in the lower left of the photograph. The lowered section of the form work is where the pool and spa will be located and the structural steel is starting to be placed in this area. In the lower left corner of the photograph the newly poured areas of basement slab on grade is visible for Zone 2. The courtyard formwork is visible on the right side of the photograph.

This is a view from the north tower crane looking East at Zone 2. Minor Avenue is the street visible at the top of the photograph with John Street on the left of the photograph. The core elevator tower is visible in the center of the photograph. As you can see in the upper section of the photograph they are in the process of finishing the slab on grade for this area of Zone 2. On the upper right, the worker is applying the broom finish texture to the loading dock ramp. On the upper left side of the photograph the depressed area where the finishers are working is the location of the basement food storage coolers. The large room being formed to the left of the elevator core is the Electrical Transformer Vault room. This is where the transformers for the building will be located. For fire safety reasons, this room is constructed completely out of concrete. The extensive underground work is for the most part completed in all zones and they are preparing the area for pouring additional slab on grade. The bottom portion of the photograph will be the last portion of the basement slab on grade to be poured as the Vault Room and the Library Entrance Stairs need to be poured prior.

This is a view from the north tower crane looking West at Zone 1. Fairview Avenue North is the street barely visible at the top of the photograph with John Street on the right of the photograph. As you can see, the slab on grade is being readied to pour to the left of the elevator core, while they are installing the capillary break on the right side of the elevator core to prepare to pour this slab on grade. The start of the first level deck forms are visible on the left of the photograph, as they progress past the courtyard. On the lower right corner of the photograph the contractor is beginning work on the elaborate structure for the Library entrance off of John Street which will be the last section of the basement area to be completed. We are very close to being completed with the structure for the basement and first floor deck.
