Mirabella Construction

Here is a view from the north tower crane looking S to SW at Zones 3 and 4. Denny Way is the street visible at the top of the photograph with Fairview Ave. N. on the right of the photograph. The core elevator towers for both zones are visible with 3 on the left and 4 on the right. Both elevator cores for level 1 have been poured in Zones 3 and 4. In the lower part of the photograph the form work for the entrance courtyard is under fabricated. The structural reinforcement steel and steel cables will be installed next as this will be the next upper deck that is poured.

This is a view from the north tower crane looking S to SE at Zones 3 and 4. Denny Way is the street visible at the top of the photograph with Minor Ave. on the left of the photograph. Minor Avenue continues to be used for form fabrication and material storage at this time. The core elevator tower for Zone 3- level 1 is visible in the upper center of the photograph which was poured this week along with some level 1 columns. The form work for Zone 2 has progressed up to the entrance ramp to the garage level, which is visible in the lower left of the photograph. The lowered section of the form work is where the pool and spa will be located. The contractor is applying the capillary break (gravel base) to the entrance ramp area in preparation to pour the slab-on-grade for this area of the basement garage. The entrance courtyard formwork is visible on the right side of the photograph.

This is a view from the north tower crane looking East at Zone 2. Minor Avenue is the street visible at the top of the photograph with John Street on the left of the photograph. The core elevator tower is visible in the center of the photograph. The Fire Tank Reservoir is capped and now buried under the capillary break ready for the slab-on-grade to be poured for the entrance ramp to the garage visible in the upper right section of the photograph. To the left of the ramp is the emergency generator room and it also has the capillary break installed for the floor. On the upper left side of the photograph the concrete lid to the storm detention vault is still visible as the contractor backfills that area up to the required floor level now that the stem walls have been poured. Work continues on the extensive underground mechanical and electrical systems throughout this zone, along with the concrete stem walls that define the many different sections of different slab-on-grade elevations.

This is a view from the north tower crane looking West at Zone 1. Fairview Avenue North is the street barely visible at the top of the photograph with John Street on the right of the photograph. The exterior basement walls have been installed along with most of the drainage plumbing throughout the area. The contractor is about halfway through the installation of the backfill around the exterior walls as work continues on more stem walls that define the grade changes. The formwork for the entrance courtyard is visible on the left of the photograph which will be poured next week. On the lower right corner of the photograph the contractor is beginning work on the elaborate structure for the Library entrance off of John Street.
