This is a view from the north tower crane looking East at Zone 2. Minor Avenue is the street visible at the top of the photograph with John Street on the left of the photograph. The core elevator tower is visible in the center of the photograph. The Fire Tank Reservoir is visible on the upper right of the photograph and the large Storm Water Detention Vault is visible in the upper left of the zone. The metal form decking is installed on the Storm Water Detention Vault and work is progressing on the structural steel reinforcement as they prepare to pour the concrete lid for the vault. On the left side of the photograph the electrical conduits that go from the main street vault into Mirabella’s transformer vault have been incased in red concrete as required by code. Visible to the right of the elevator core are stem walls being formed that make elevation transition for the slab-on-grade of the basement. This area has extensive underground mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work in progress prior to being able to pour the slab-on-grade. This underground work is layered throughout the area, and with the first layer completed, the contractor is working on backfilling up to the next layer of underground infrastructure.
