Mirabella Construction

Here is a view from the north tower crane looking S to SW at Zones 3 and 4. Denny Way is the street visible at the top of the photograph with Fairview Ave. N. on the right of the photograph. The core elevator towers for both zones are visible with 3 on the left and 4 on the right. The first floor has just been poured and is in the process of being finished in Zone 3 on the left of the photograph. The columns to support the second level are being formed and poured in Zone 4 as well as placement of the reinforcement steel for the elevator core for the next pour. In the bottom half of the photograph the newly poured slab-on-grade for the basement under the courtyard is visible and you can also see the contractor is placing the forms for the courtyard area deck.

This is a view from the north tower crane looking S to SE at Zones 3 and 4. Denny Way is the street visible at the top of the photograph with Minor Ave. on the left of the photograph. Minor Avenue continues to be used for form fabrication and material storage at this time. The core elevator towers for both zones are visible with 3 on the left and 4 on the right. This shows the recently poured concrete deck for Zone 3 being finished. The lower right section of the photograph shows the new slab-on-grade area under the courtyard along with the upper forms being installed for the courtyard. Visible on the left side is the capillary break being prepared so that more basement slab-on-grade can be installed over the completed underground mechanical and plumbing. Work is progressing on forming the stem walls surrounding the fire reservoir tank to form the entrance ramp to the garage and is visible on the lower left of the photograph.

This is a view from the north tower crane looking East at Zone 2. Minor Avenue is the street visible at the top of the photograph with John Street on the left of the photograph. The core elevator tower is visible in the center of the photograph. The Fire Tank Reservoir is visible on the upper right of the photograph and the large Storm Water Detention Vault is visible in the upper left of the zone. The metal form decking is installed on the Storm Water Detention Vault and work is progressing on the structural steel reinforcement as they prepare to pour the concrete lid for the vault. On the left side of the photograph the electrical conduits that go from the main street vault into Mirabella’s transformer vault have been incased in red concrete as required by code. Visible to the right of the elevator core are stem walls being formed that make elevation transition for the slab-on-grade of the basement. This area has extensive underground mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work in progress prior to being able to pour the slab-on-grade. This underground work is layered throughout the area, and with the first layer completed, the contractor is working on backfilling up to the next layer of underground infrastructure.

This is a view from the north tower crane looking West at Zone 1. Fairview Avenue North is the street barely visible at the top of the photograph with John Street on the right of the photograph. This is the last elevator core for the basement area, and it has been poured up to level one. The area has been cleared to begin forming the footing for the exterior walls between the visible strap beams (upper and right of the core) and work is progressing on installation of the structural steel reinforcement for the exterior wall along Fairview Avenue. Visible on the left side of the photograph is the formwork staging being installed for the courtyard up to the edge of the current basement slab-on-grade.
