“One of the best things about being involved in the start-up of Mirabella Portland is seeing all of the new friendships that bloom,” says Regional Marketing Director Diane Masson. “It was clear at our very first ‘official’ Charter Member Event that future residents have already created many new friendships among themselves. I watched this happen at Mirabella Seattle too, and I know from experience that over the next couple of years, these friendships will deepen and expand. It’s truly wonderful to see.”
The first Charter Member Event was held at the Dolores Winningstad Theatre at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts, and it was a resounding success. Brian McLemore and Paul Riepma of Pacific Retirement Services both presented updates about the progress of Mirabella Portland. News included Mirabella Portland’s passing the Portland City Council’s design review and completion of zoning.
Everyone was treated to a performance by Opera students from Portland State University, with Artistic Director Christine Meadows directing.
Diane says, “I have to say that I think our Charter Members have to be the finest, friendliest, most fun-loving group of people in all of Portland. I can tell that living at Mirabella Portland is going to be a wonderful experience for each and every resident. Everyone is so interesting and involved in life and the world around them. And everyone is so excited about the new friendships that they’ve made and will continue to make through the years.”
