A beautiful February day in Portland as work continues on Mirabella. This view is looking southeast towards the northwest corner of the building, taken from the park above the OHSU parking garage.
Visible on the roof of Mirabella is the recently placed red iron which forms the backbone for the Mechanical Penthouse. This houses many of the mechanical systems and the elevator equipment for the tower portion of the building. This view is looking northeast towards Mirabella taken from the corner of SW Gaines St and SW Macadam Ave.
The framework or red iron is in place for the level-25 two-story reading room. Also visible in the above photo is the exterior metal stud wall framing, which has now reached level-26. This view is looking east from the exterior decks located along the south side of level-25.
This view is of the level-5 community roof top deck, taken from the level-7 roof top, looking west. Work is now taking place on the basalt stone veneer which is being placed on portions of the concrete planter boxes. The metal trellis is now being placed throughout the roof top deck.
Site work continues around Mirabella, this view is of SW River Pkwy looking south. Concrete sidewalks have recently been poured and now pavers are being installed, which is part of the landscape design.
This view is from the entry vestibule looking east towards the lobby and reception area. Work is nearing completion on the decorative polished plaster, which is visible on the columns and walls. The terrazzo flooring is scheduled to begin towards the end of February / beginning of March, with the installation of the Barrisol Stretched Ceiling system to follow.
This is a partial view of the mailroom looking north. Carpet for this area has recently been placed and protected, wall coverings have been installed, acoustical ceiling and tiles are complete, light fixtures are activated, mailboxes are in and the message boxes are being installed.
This is a view of the typical tower elevator landing, which occurs at level-3 through level-23. This photo (taken from level-3, looking west) shows installed elevator door fronts, installed wall tile, installed light fixtures and installed lights in the light coves. Work that still needs to take place includes; handrails, carpet, baseboards, finish paint and the placement of cherry-wood paneled column wraps.
