Construction is Under Way!

Mirabella Portland has been topped out. The final post-tensioned slab for Mirabella was poured on Friday January, 15 2010. This aerial view is looking southeast towards Mirabella taken from the 15th floor observation deck of the OHSU Center for Health and Healing.

This view is looking north east towards Mirabella taken from the corner of SW Gaines St and SW Macadam Ave. The reduction in the size of the floor plates at level-25 through level-30 highlights the distinctive penthouse levels of Mirabella.

The window wall system, for Mirabella, is now installed through level-22, with interior metal stud wall framing now taking place at level-22. The installation of the cementitious composite panel’s (CCP) continues to take place at the balconies of the lower floors (visible at the lower left – center of the above photo). This is a view looking northwest along the east façade of Mirabella taken from the corner of SW Pennoyer and SW River Parkway.

Site work on Pennoyer Street continues. Paver installation is moving quickly from west to east. Once complete, Pennoyer Street will allow pedestrian access from the South Waterfront Neighborhood Park to the rivers edge of the Willamette. This view is from the fourth floor balcony at the southwest corner of Mirabella looking east towards the Willamette River.

This view is of the level-5 community roof top deck as paver installation is nearing completion. The metal trellis is now being placed throughout the roof top deck. Work is also taking place on the stone veneer for the exterior fireplace wall (visible at the center – right of the above photo). The neighboring John Ross Building and the Elizabeth Caruthers Park are visible in the background.

Corridor carpet is being installed at level-2. This view is of the south corridor looking west. Additional finish work that has recently taken place at level-2 includes; finish handrails and painted baseboards.

This is an interior view of a level-16 apartment-home, at the south east corner of the tower. Taping and finish of the gypsum wall board is taking place at level-15 and level-16, while insulation and gyp board install is now being installed at level-17.
