Construction is Under Way!
December 4, 2009

Formwork is now taking place for the level-28 post-tension slab. This floor is scheduled to be poured on Monday December 07 2009. The final post-tension slab, level-31 (which is the roof of level-30), is scheduled to be poured in mid January. This aerial view is looking southeast towards Mirabella taken from the 15th floor observation deck of the OHSU Center for Health and Healing.

A beautiful December day as work continues in the South Waterfront. This view is looking northeast toward Mirabella’s west façade taken from the corner of SW Gaines and SW Macadam Ave.

This is a view looking northwest along the east façade of Mirabella taken from the corner of SW Pennoyer and SW River Parkway. Visible in the foreground is the southeast corner of the podium (south half), with the tower (north half) climbing in the background. The window wall system is now being installed at level-19, with interior metal stud wall framing now taking place at level-18.

Finish work continues on the level-1 lobby and reception area. This view is looking east into the lobby from the entry vestibule. The main reception desk for Mirabella will be located at the opening in the left of the above photo, with the tower bank of elevators located behind the reception desk. The taping and finish of the drywall at the north half of level-1 is nearing completion with paint scheduled as the next step in the finish process.

This Rotunda area is the central node to the south half of level-1 of Mirabella. Directly off of the Rotunda is the Library, the Podium Bank of Elevators, access to the Resident Business Center as well as the corridor that leads to the Auditorium and the Private Dining Room. The finish work in the Rotunda is nearing completion which will allow for the installation of the custom commissioned blown glass sculpture. This multi-component sculpture will be fastened to the ceiling and illuminated from the recessed down lights (visible at the upper portion of the above photo).

This view is looking east toward the Willamette River and Mt Hood from a level-6 apartment–home located at the southeast corner of Mirabella.

This amazing view of Mt Hood is viewed from the 24th floor dining room. The top of the building visible in the lower left of the photo is the east tower of the neighboring Meriwether Condo.

Just another picture perfect day in the South Waterfront! This view of Mirabella is looking southeast towards the northwest corner of the building, taken from the park above the OHSU parking garage.
