Construction is Under Way!
November 16, 2009

Mirabella continues to climb at a rapid pace! The level-26 post tensioned slab has just been poured. The current schedule is to pour 1 post-tensioned slab every 7 working days. This view is looking southeast towards the northwest corner of the building, taken from the park above the OHSU parking garage.

This view is of Mirabella taken from the 22nd floor of the Riva building. Visible in the lower left of the photo is the continued work on the Elizabeth Caruthers Park which is nearing completion.

This is a view looking northwest along the east façade of Mirabella taken from the corner of SW Pennoyer and SW River Parkway. Visible in the foreground is the southeast corner of the podium (south half), with the tower (north half) climbing in the background. The window wall system is now in place through level-17. The louvers for the mechanical penthouse (center of photo) have been placed, while work continues on the installation of the balcony handrails throughout the podium and tower.

Interior finishes continue at level-1 common areas. This photo is of the sitting area located at the south end of the library. The cherry wood book shelves have recently been delivered and installed.

The above photo shows continued finish work at the level-1 Private Dining Room. The drop down acoustical wood panel ceiling is being installed (upper right of photo). The stone background for the wine display case has been placed (center of photo – behind ladders). The wine display cabinet will finish out with glass doors and wood paneling.

The above photo was taken from the corner of SW Moody and SW Curry looking east towards Mirabella. Visible at the top of the tower is the level-26 post-tensioned slab. The top six floors, level-25 through level-30, have a smaller floor plate which is now visible. The standard tower floors have 8 apartment-homes; while level-25 through level-30 have 4 apartment-homes. The top 6 floors of Mirabella are the penthouse levels.

The sun peaks out to highlight the upper floors of Mirabella. This photo was taken from the corner of SW Moody and SW Gaines looking northeast past the neighborhood park towards Mirabella.
