Construction is Under Way!

Mirabella continues to climb skyward, the level-23 post-tensioned slab has been poured and formwork is already underway for the level-24 post-tensioned slab, which is scheduled to be poured on Tuesday, October 20 2009. This view is looking southeast towards the northwest corner of the building, taken from the park above the OHSU parking garage.
This view is from the southwest taken from the corner of SW Moody and SW Gaines looking northeast, from the 22nd floor of the Riva building. The window wall system for Mirabella has now been installed through level-13 (visible in the center of the above photo), with balcony railings following closely behind, which have been placed through level-11.
This is another view of Mirabella taken from the 22nd floor of the Riva building. Visible in the lower left of the photo is the continued work on the Elizabeth Caruthers Park which is nearing completion. The Willamette River, east Portland and blue skies are visible in the background.
This is an interior view of a level-6 apartment-home, looking west. The interior metal stud wall framing and gypsum wall board placement is now complete, throughout the north half of level-6. This particular apartment has chosen the upgraded option of a fireplace, which can be seen in its early stages (center of the photo). The half-wall, in the lower right of the photo, separates the kitchen from the living areas of this apartment.
Interior finishes continue at various stages from level-2 through level-6. The above photo show installed light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, granite slab countertops and backsplash at a this level-4 apartment-home. Wood flooring is now going in at level-4 (visible in the above photo protected by cardboard), with baseboard and finish paint to follow.
Finish work, including millwork, is now taking place at level-1. This is the reception desk that leads into the Mirabella staff / management offices located at the southeast quadrant of the first floor.
The above photo is of the level-1 classroom / auditorium, looking south east. This photo was taken of the classroom after the completion of interior paint. Interior finish work to follow includes; ceiling tile, electrical finishes, doors and hardware, floor coverings and final paint.
