Construction is Under Way!

A beautiful day as construction continues on both Mirabella and the Elizabeth Caruthers Park (South Waterfront Community Park). This photo was taken from the corner of SW Moody and SW Gaines looking northeast towards Mirabella.
Mirabella in the morning! This photo was taken in the early morning hours as work for the day is beginning to take place. Concrete trucks are parked (lower left) as work begins for the concrete pour of the level-22 pt-slab. Each floor of the tower, from level-8 through level-25 takes an estimated 315 cubic yards of concrete.
The above photo was taken from the corner of SW Macadam and SW Curry, looking east, as the sun is rising on another beautiful Portland day. Windows have been installed at Mirabella through level-11 (lower left of photo) and exterior metal stud framing has reached level-16.
This is a view looking northwest at the south facing façade of Mirabella from the corner of Pennoyer St and SW River Parkway (this photo was taken in the early morning hours as the sun was rising, which explains the yellow hew on the building). Exterior handrails at unit balconies (visible at the center of the above photo) have now been placed through level-6. Exterior work on the south façade of the building is nearing completion, with the exception of the Cementious Composite Panel which will be installed at the unit balconies.
This is a view looking northwest along the east façade of Mirabella taken from the corner of SW Pennoyer and SW River Parkway (as in the previous photo, this was taken in the early morning hours as the sun was rising, which explains the yellow hew on the building). Visible in the foreground is the southeast corner of the podium (south half), with the tower (north half) climbing in the background. Work continues to enclose the mechanical penthouse at level-7. This includes the installation of CSMU (stone façade) as well as metal panel. The metal panel is being installed at the top of the mechanical penthouse as well as the east and west ends (visible in the center of the above photo).
This is a birds eye is a view of the level-5 community roof top deck, taken from level-22 of Mirabella looking south. This deck is planned to include an outdoor barbeque area, an outdoor fireplace along with several sitting areas. It is destined to be a great place to socialize with your new neighbors! The concrete walls visible throughout the deck are planter boxes which are used to separate and identify spaces throughout the rooftop deck.
The above photo is of the level-1 classroom, looking south east. This photo was taken of the classroom prior to interior paint, which is now taking place at level-1 (south).
Interior finishes continue at various stages throughout Mirabella. The above photo shows cabinets with a recently installed granite slab countertop and backsplash at a level-4 apartment home with additional finish work (millwork, doors, door hardware, electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures and flooring) to follow. Cabinets, casework and granite slab countertops have been installed through level-6 of the podium (south).
Mirabella and the streetcar! This photo was taken at the street car stop of SW Bond and OHSU Plaza, before the streetcar departs to downtown Portland. Visible in the background is Mirabella as it continues to climb! Formwork is now taking place for the level-23 pt-slab.
