Construction is Under Way!

This view is of the west facing side of Mirabella, taken from SW Moody Ave, looking past the construction of the South Waterfront Community Park. This future city park has officially been named, Elizabeth Caruthers Park, and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2009. Recently placed on top of the podium (center left of photo) is our Mirabella sign. This sign is illuminated at night and is visible from I-5, so next time you are in the neighborhood in the evening or in the early morning keep a look out for the new Mirabella sign!
Above is a view looking into the dining and kitchen areas of a level-4 apartment home. Construction of this particular home has been accelerated which has helped the Mirabella Team coordinate many specific details that will be used throughout construction of the remaining project.
This is a close up view of the kitchen in the afore mentioned level-4 apartment home. Visible are the beautiful cherry cabinets as well as gorgeous granite slab countertops!
Interior finish work continues throughout Mirabella. Cabinets and casework have been delivered through level-4 of the podium (south). The above photo shows kitchen cabinet installation taking place at an apartment home on level-3, with additional finish work (countertops, millwork, doors, door hardware, electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures and flooring) to follow.
This view is looking northeast in a residential apartment home located at the southwest corner of level-5 (tower). Interior metal stud wall framing has reached level-6 of the tower, while exterior wall framing has reached level-11. Also visible in the above photo is plumbing rough-in (lower left), HVAC ductwork (silver ducting upper middle) and the fire protection rough-in (orange cpvc upper).
This is a view looking northwest of the south facing façade of Mirabella from the corner of Pennoyer St and SW River Parkway. Work continues on the exterior aspects of Mirabella, which now includes the installation of brackets for exterior handrails at balconies (visible at the center of the above photo on level-3).
This is a view looking northwest along the east façade of Mirabella taken from the corner of SW Pennoyer and SW River Parkway. Visible in the foreground is the southeast corner of the podium (south half), with the tower (north half) climbing in the background. Formwork is well under way on the level-18 PT slab (visible at the upper center of the above photo) which is scheduled to be poured on Monday August 18, 2009. Also work continues to enclose the mechanical penthouse at level-7.
Mirabella continues to take shape and is now becoming part of the skyline of the South Waterfront Community. The above photo shows Mirabella flanked by its neighbors; the Meriwether Condos to the left and the John Ross Condos to the right. This view is looking southeast towards the northwest corner of the building, taken from the park above the OHSU parking garage.
