Resident Collaboration At all PRS communities, resident involvement in planning and decision making is the cornerstone of success. At Mirabella San Francisco Bay, PRS initially encouraged resident involvement by creating a Priority Wait List program for Charter Members. Through this program, all Charter Members had the opportunity to sit down with the Architectural Design Team to share their ideas. These meetings are still being held regularly, so that the PRS team can hear every voice and make sure the apartment homes are exactly what our future residents want. In addition, a Dining Services Advisory Group has been formed so that future residents can be involved in the selection of everything from restaurant décor and dining hours, to china, glassware, menu items, and wine lists! Currently, the Activities/Recreation, Travel, Education, and Fitness Advisory Groups are being formed, along with a Resident Council. This type of collaboration has been incredibly successful for PRS and the residents who live in our communities. As Senior Vice President Paul Riepma explains, “Collaborating directly with Charter Members as we go through the development process benefits everyone who will live at Mirabella. It’s very satisfying to get resident input, discover exactly what they are looking for, and learn what’s really important to them. By working together, we’ve created some of the most remarkable CCRCs in the nation, and Mirabella San Francisco Bay will be a standout among them.” |
