In July 2007 Pacific Retirement Services, together with Sares Regis Group of Northern California and the Jewish Home of San Francisco, was unanimously selected to develop a brand-new CCRC for Foster City, California. PRS has named the new community Mirabella San Francisco Bay. Like the other Mirabella communities, it will provide residents with an unparalleled lifestyle that encourages them to live life with vigor, zest, purpose, and fulfillment. Like all PRS Mirabella communities, this one at San Francisco Bay will be a place for people who are actively engaged in life, curious and interested in the world, and ready to embark on new adventures.

The 10.5-acre site where Mirabella San Francisco Bay will be built sits next to City Hall and the Foster City Civic Center. This fine location provides PRS with an incredible opportunity to create an attractive, vibrant community in the heart of Foster City. Design plans call for a CCRC that offers 251 Residential Living apartments, 36 Assisted Living apartments, and 44 all-private Health Care Center residences.

Mirabella San Francisco Bay will also offer a full complement of the finest services, including fabulous meals prepared by an Executive Chef, a comprehensive Wellness Program, concierge services, valet parking, 24-hour security, scheduled transportation, and much more. All apartment homes will feature a fully equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer, a private view deck, and luxurious appointments throughout.

Community amenities will include a Dining Room, a Private Dining Room, a Café, a Club Lounge, an Auditorium/Theatre, a Spa, and a Library and Business Center. There will be opportunities for connectivity to the greater Foster City community though lifelong learning programs and volunteer opportunities.

Residents will also be able to easily access the many amenities found at the adjacent Foster City Library, the North Peninsula Jewish Campus, and the William E. Walker Recreation Center, which houses the Senior Center just across Shell Boulevard. Mirabella San Francisco Bay will also be close to the Leo Ryan Park along the Foster City Lagoon, which is a wonderful place to take casual strolls or brisk fitness walks. Also, several large community events take place in Leo Ryan Park throughout the year.
